The Journolist’s Creed: All the News that’s Fit to Bury or Invent

“I fear the newspapers more than a hundred thousand bayonets.”
-Napoleon Bonaparte

What do you get when you mix an inept and corrupt political machine with lazy, manipulative media elitists? Whatever it is, nothing good can happen. And, it didn’t.

Credit goes to the Daily Caller’s brilliant expose of the fourth estate’s deliberate, inflammatory and successful scheme to destroy anyone that interfered with Barack Obama’s bid for the presidency.

In part one, Jonathan Strong described Journolist as “a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists.”

Spencer Ackerman, a writer for the Washington Independent, strategized, with his fellow progressive schemers, intentionally to label anyone who mentioned Mr. Obama’s relationship with Reverend Jeremiah Wright as a “racist.”

“If the right forces us all to either defend Wright or tear him down, no matter what we choose, we lose the game they’ve put upon us. Instead, take one of them — Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists. Ask: why do they have such a deep-seated problem with a black politician who unites the country? What lurks behind those problems? This makes ‘them’ sputter with rage, which in turn leads to overreaction and self-destruction.”

Ackerman wasn’t alone, the game plan was a collaboration of reporters from Mother Jones, the Washington Post, Nation, Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon, Bloomberg, the Economist, the New Yorker and the New Republic. There were also professors from the nation’s most prestigious universities who participated in the fraud.

Fox News is a constant irritation to the left. In part two, Strong explained that Journolist members wanted the FCC to shut down Fox News.

Daniel Davies (Guardian) wrote:

“‘I am genuinely scared’ of Fox, because it shows you that a genuinely shameless and unethical media organization ‘cannot’ be controlled by any form of peer pressure or self-regulation, and nor can it be successfully cold-shouldered or ostracized. In order to have even a semblance of control, you need a tough legal framework.”

“All the news that’s fit to print” doesn’t exist anymore. Reporters for  gossip rags such as the National Enquirer have more credibility than Journolist members do. The National Enquirer broke the John Edwards scandal.

All the news that’s fit to bury or invent
Part three of the series covers the left’s intentional attempts to destroy Sarah Palin.

Suzanne Nossel, (Human Rights Watch) stated:

“I think it is and can be spun as a profoundly sexist pick. Women should feel umbrage at the idea that their votes can be attracted just by putting a woman, any woman, on the ticket no matter her qualifications or views.”

It would be wrong to refer to any of the participants in this scam as “journalists.”

They are nothing more than spin-doctors using their power to influence and control what stories, be it truth or fiction, made it to press.

This is propaganda in its purest form. America gained greater burdens as a result of their unethical interference: ObamaCare, an overreaching Financial Reform law, Cash for Clunkers, termination of the Bush tax cuts, an extension of unemployment, Government Motors, questionable appointments, and an unsustainable debt.

Constitutional America is dying along with the free market. Responsible journalism is more the exception than the standard.

Walter Williams’ Journalist Creed, specifically, the belief of “clear thinking, clear statement, accuracy and fairness being fundamental to good journalism,” is no longer relevant for these news whores.

They are snipers who slander and libel anyone not in step with their progressive agenda.
