It’s less than 100 days until the midterm elections. Think twice before voting for a Big Government crony.

It is alive!
“We the people” need to grab a large tube of Preparation H and shrink the bloody hemorrhoid, otherwise known as Big Government.

However, this thing has amassed to an uncontainable size with a voracious appetite for spending. Gold-digging housewives are tightwads compared to Big Government, the spendthrift.

It attaches itself to the wallets and bank accounts of taxpayers throughout America.

Big Government is an out of control leech sucking the free market dry with its lies, payoffs, and elitist mindset.

The fact that Big Government is letting the Bush tax cuts expire in conjunction with all of the high-priced legislation passed in 2010 is a bit unnerving for most taxpayers.

In 2011, American life will be significantly more expensive.

Speaking of wasteful spending
A recent Roll Call posting lists some unbelievable waste for Congress. In just 6 months, they squandered taxpayer money on this:

  • Bottled Water  $ 198,792
  • Carpet   421,617.
  • Food and beverage  1,391,440.
  • Drapes  203,588.
  • Laundry  3,013

Dutch treat anyone?

We know many members of the Obamanoff Dynasty don’t pay their taxes, but sticking us for basic household expenses is nothing short of sleazy. See the full list here.

But wait there’s more
Think that’s bad, check out the top three monthly rents for Congress, courtesy of John Q. Taxpayer:

  • Nancy Pelosi (D)   $18,736.
  • Jerrold Nadler (D)  10,600
  • José Serrano (D)     9,583.

God Complex: Hypocrisy thy name is Washington
Politics used to be about dedicating one’s life to public service. That notion seems like a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Today, many members of Congress are wealthy. It’s the norm, not the exception. It makes sense after reading the expense list above. The top three richest members of Congress (in millions) are:

  • John Kerry (D)   $167.55  He’s a tax cheat, too!
  • Darrell Issa (R)    164.70
  • Jane Harmon (D)  112.13

The results of the 2010 midterm elections will have lasting implications that will impact future generations.

It’s important to elect fiscal conservatives who support the Constitution.

On Election Day, grab a clove of garlic, some holy water, and crucifix to exorcise the beast that’s devouring the free market.

What do you get when you mix an inept and corrupt political machine with lazy, manipulative media elitists? Whatever it is, nothing good can happen. And, it didn’t.
Credit goes to the Daily Caller’s brilliant expose of the fourth estate’s deliberate, inflammatory and successful [...]

Eric Holder Needs to Go Now

When Barack Obama appointed Eric Holder as his Attorney General there were plenty of reasons for concern.
First, Eric Holder brokered the deal that resulted in Bill Clinton’s infamous pardon of Marc Rich.
Do you remember Marc Rich? He’s the tax cheat, who was indicted on 51 counts of tax fraud, as well as running illegal oil [...]

“It’s not what you say, it’s what people hear.” – Dr. Frank Luntz
The members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences must have read Dr. Luntz’s book. A safer bet would be that they’ve probably read Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein’s progressive-strategy handbook Nudge. The latter is a must read for all socialists and [...]

Maverick, not a RINO

Thumbnail image for Maverick, not a RINO June 30, 2010

In 2010, the electorate has declared war on incumbents. Bob Bennett lost his senate seat in the Utah primary! Thank goodness, no incumbent seat is safe. That’s the way it should be.
Isn’t this guy a RINO?
John McCain is the only incumbent who should remain in office. Huh, the guy is a RINO!
True conservatives might not [...]
